Highland Ribs can also offer a fully comprehensive Yacht and Boat delivery service. Whether its a short day's sail or a full Atlantic crossing you can be sure of the same meticulous and professional approach.

All Skippers are commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmasters, with extensive experience in Yacht Delivery. Each delivery has a Skipper plus two crew, this is increased to three for trans ocean passages for safety and insurance reasons. Owners are welcome to join the crew for all delivery trips and, of course, we can provide support crew at all levels of experience for an owner who wishes to skipper a passage himself.

Once a weather window has been identified, the Skipper and crew will make there way to the vessel. On arrival a comprehensive pre-departure
survey will be completed, this ensures any issues are noted and rectified if necessary prior to departure. All vulnerable surfaces will then be covered and protected. This together with the victualing, normally takes about 24 hours.

On departure we endeavor to make the best time possible, while paying due regard to the prevailing conditions, the safety of the vessel and its crew and cost efficiency. A regular, detailed log will be maintained throughout the passage. The vessels position can be monitored using spot satellite technology and regular contact will be made from the office.

At the end of the delivery the vessel is thoroughly cleaned and handed over to the owner with a full condition & passage report and any recommendations from the Skipper.

£150 per day + expenses

Expenses:
These may include, airfare, train, bus or ferry costs to and from boat, food, fuel and berthing costs.

At all times we will endeavor to
keep our expenses to an absolute minimum.

Payment process:

1	10% of delivery fee due on booking.
2	50% of delivery fee & 100% fuel costs due no later than 7 days prior to departure.
3	Balance of the delivery cost plus any outstanding expenses are due on arrival at the port of destination. It is essential that the owner or the owner’s agent is there to meet the yacht on arrival to sign acceptance.
